aperture: an opening hole or gap. 

shutter: a device that opens and closes to expose the film in a camera.

exposure: a camera that would give a picture immediately after exposure.

depth of field: the distance between the nearest and the further objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera.

F-stop: a camera setting corresponding to a particular f-number.

focal length: the distance between the center of a lens or curved mirror and its focus.


the shutter button:In photography the shutter-release button (sometimes just shutter release or shutter button) is a push-button found on many cameras, used to take a picture.

main dial:To select the shooting mode, simply holds down this button and turn the Main Dial next to the shutter release button. 

built in flash: The light from even a small flash is as powerful as the sun but, given that it's only source of energy is a small battery.

grip: to hold the camera tight.
